About Dr. Grubb

Raised in Havre de Grace, Dr. Grubb graduated from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the top of his class. He then completed a dental residency at Sinai Hospital, where he obtained advanced training in surgery and anesthesia.  After his residency, he moved to Havre de Grace and has been a practicing dentistry there for well over 35 years.

Once he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Grubb found that he was interested in the specific skill of dental implantology. This led him to pursue a course of study in dental implants from Howard University. The program lasted a year and helped cement his desire to help patients with amazing dental implants.

After his formal schooling was complete, he continued to pursue education courses to stay at the forefront of his profession. Dr. Grubb has also received training in anesthesia and IV-sedation. This allows him to offer his patients the most current treatment options available and the best quality products.

In addition to his continued learning interests, he has completed an extensive continuing education course in Anesthesiology through the Dentistry Department at the University of Pittsburgh. This lead to him serving on two American Dental Association Councils in Chicago and the receiving the chairmanship of several Maryland State Dental Association Councils and Committees.

Dr. Grubb has long been dedicated to helping the next generations of dental providers by sharing his experience and skill. He served as President of the Harford-Cecil Dental Society and as a clinical assistant professor in the Graduate General Dentistry Residency program at the University of Maryland.  He also spent time as a clinical instructor in the General Practice Residency Program at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and as the Chief of the Dental Division of Harford Memorial Hospital for 21 years. After all this, he also served as President of the Maryland State Dental Association from 2004-2005, and has spent many hours lecturing across the country for the American Dental Association.

When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Grubb spends he free time traveling, reading, boating, fly fishing, playing tennis, skiing, hunting, scuba diving, woodworking, and gourmet cooking. Most of these activities are shared with his wife, who is also works as a business manager for his practice. They have one adult son together.
